Earth Heart Inc. contines its commitment to help dog-related organizations raise much-needed funds by sponsoring the 2012 GoToRovers.com 5K Fun Run/Walk for Pets to be held at the 2012 H.H. Backer Trade Show on Saturday, October 13, 2012.

The GoToRovers.com 5K Fun Run/Walk for Pets begins at 7:30 a.m., at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, Illinois.  Registration is $20.00 and all proceeds go directly to benefit the Animal Care League of Oak Park, Illinois, the designated show charity.

Vicki Rae Thorne of Dundee, Illinois, is working in the pet industry at a prime time. From 2004 to 2007, the pet industry grew an average of $10 million a year. The same rate is expected in 2012. 2012 PAWfest launches fundraising effort for Animal House Shelter.

Cary Park District Hosts Community Day At Dog Park

 

The Cary Park District is hosting a Community Day at the Dog Park on Saturday, June 23 from 10:00 am - 1:00 pm at Hoffman Park on West Main Street. The first 100 families will receive a complimentary goodie bag.

Dog park pass holders and non pass holders are welcome to attend and enjoy complimentary visits during that time as well as a mini pet expo with a variety of pet related businesses from around the community.
